Best recommendation for Helmet cam system etc...
So without going into details I almost got ran over this morning by some dumbass. The driver would have been at complete fault, the vehicle pulled into the crosswalk on their red light and my crosswalk "walk" sign. Anyway I have a morning commute that last about a mile and I think it's best if I get some sort of helmet mounted camera. The first and obvious thing that comes to mind is some sort of GoPro Hero (basic one). Of course a helmet mount. Anybody have any recommendations? I'm seeing them used for like 50 - 60....

I've been using an SJ4000 for three years now, and it works like a charm.

I've been using a Contour roam for a few years now. The new ones have bluetooth, wifi and 4K available. While the Roam is bigger than most, it hads the best battery life, and the lens rotates so the camera can be mounted off-angle, and then the lens rotation will compensate.
One thing I've noticed with the wide-angle lenses is that vehicle don't always appear as close as they seemed in real life,
