For American readers, that works out to $290 in US$. Few of us have any idea of what bicycles are available in your country or what they cost after India applies import taxes. If you were in America, this might get you an entry level bike at a local bike shop.

A bike that is comfortable for you, fits and that can do what you need it to do well without failing quickly. Cheap bikes are certainly cheap initially but if you are looking to save money those cheap bikes are more of a pit then anything and if you must go super cheap stick with single speed bikes. Once you start adding features or parts onto something the price has to come up or the quality has to go down.
