1st time riding with wife in Pasadena..Need Suggestion

Greeting fellow BFers,
We will be heading to Pasadena this wkend to ride. Actually, it more like around Eagle Rock area and drop off the kids so my wife and I can go for a nice ride.
I'm thinking about taken her to Rose Bowl area to ride. But I not very familar to the surrounding area from Eagle Rock (off the main street of Colorado) AND area of Rose Bowl.

I only know at the Rose Bowl is a big round pretty flat circel ride ( wonder if that is still open with all the hype about Pasdenda Pelaton) but I was hoping to take her for a little advanture where there might be some small hills and downhills perhaps with a nice view and little cars as possible. She is not a regular rider so cars make her nervous.

Please can anyone suggest a "nice and pretty" ride for us?

Much appreciate.
regards,
Gary

If cars make her nervous perhaps you should just drive to the Rose Bowl and start the ride there. Once you're there, traffic at and around the Rose Bowl is very light. The residential roads surrounding the Rose Bowl loop is nice and somewhat hilly, and lots to explore.

Thanks Roadfix,
What and how to get to the residential roads around Rose Bowl?
That is exactly my idea...drive there and ride around there..but I just dont know the street well enough to lead her. Appreciate if you can fill in the street(s) to ride.
Thank you very much.
