I put a couple stickers from Adventure Cycling on two of my bikes. They had really pithy sayings that I appreciated. "Had" being the operative word, as the few times a year I give the bike a ride on my car rack has rubbed the ink off, so all that's left is some white-paper looking things.

Nothing on the frames but I have put a couple on fenders or other parts.
Rode my Trek city build to work one morning shortly after 9/11 and was given this one.
I got several of these during my first IT contract out of school. The company was doing a rollout to replace older machines and they had these stickers indicating they were certified for the upcoming Y2K catastrophe. These are particularly suitable for my fleet, all of which predate the millennium, some by decades.

Tsumaranai
I put mailbox letter stickers on my toptube that spell out TSUMARANAI. In Japanese it means "its so unimportant its not even worth thinking about". Each time I get ready to mount my bicycle I see it and it centers my mind. Also letters that say "7 times down 8 times up".

My 1960 Western Flyer has a sticker letting me know where it was made. And my Sears Roebuck 5 speed made in Austria has stickers showing which gear I am in.

The only bike I had started to sticker bomb was my '12 Response, but it was stolen.

Personalized stickers.....
I built a very long wheelbase bike for myself about 2 years ago....cut apart the frames of a Trek 850 and a Schwinn World Traveler (both chromoloy) with some added steel tubes....made a jig and welded it all together. About a 6' wheelbase. I had 4 stickers made reading "Frankenbike".. I am going to modify it further this year (2 chains, 3 chain rings, longer.....kind of a Steampunk vibe).
I built a Fuji steel road bike, complete repaint. Normally I get original style aftermarket stickers on a repaint, but on this one, for something different, I found 6 varieties of elaborate pin striping stickers with width and length that worked on the seat tube, down tube, top tube and head tube.. Yellow and dark blue frame with navy blue and yellow pinstriping. Didn't like the color combo, so did all yellow with Fuji stickers....but I used my 60's era 27" road wheels (Campy wide flange hubs, Ambrosio rims, dbl butted spokes) so I put a few vintage Campy stickers on the bike.

Gorgeous!! Love the color scheme.....esp the carryover colors in cable housings, tape and rims. I see that like me you might not be a fan of black components....I like my bikes "silvered out" like this beauty.

Below is my only sticker - given to me by another BFer to commemorate and document a serially problematic build
What could go wrong? or with a bit of emotion - What else could possibly go wrong?!?
But the project worked itself into a very enjoyable and useful 9 speed triple on a 40+yo frameset.

Not a big fan if non-factory stickers, though I am guilty of a few applications.
Back in the 60s I put Chiquita banana stickers on my Legnano fork. The cool stickers were hell to remove after almost 60 years as I got ready for Eroica. The petrified glue was way more robust than the whisper thin Italian lacquer.
I do like the vintage ABL sticker, it stays.
Our bike club went from nice embroidered patches to cheesy stickers for our big charity ride. The sticker was perfect color for my bike, and protects the raw carbon from cable housing rub.

I've built a weight weeny bike with mostly new parts from China, UK, USA, Taiwan Germany. 6800 grams (15 pounds), 56 cm frame, weight includes saddle, pedals, bike computer, and bottle cages, plus electronic shifting. The only sticker added is a clear chain guard on the chain stay. I am thinking about adding a few custom stickers to add a little bling and a few grams - My Name plus 'WORKS' on the down tube, top tube and forks instead of 'SPECIALIZED WORKS'. The frame is from 'Workswell Bikes'. It's a knock off of a Cervelo R3, well constructed. I want to add my signature on the top tube as well so it's not just some anonymous bike. website for vinyl stickers doityourselflettering.com

Oh, and only a true weight weeny would consider vinyl lettering as adding a few grams! Good job.

I got stickers of my name on all my bikes (Pegatin Pro).
It looks cool and plus if someone steals my bike it has my name on them
