I'm sure the kids of these parents are turning out just fine. No issues whatsoever.

The roads in the frozen tundra have thawed and dried up. No snow blowers or plows needed.

I like the band march-by videos because you can hear the different parts.

they could complain as much as they desire - just don’t confront me or another coach during a game
one time a mother approached me during a game while I was coaching third base - I called a timeout and had the umpires deal with her … when she later began to cause a stir with the umpires I threatened to call the local police (and she departed)
one of my friends that coached youth football grew so tired of the shenanigans he closed practices to the parents - no parents allowed to watch the practices … so some of those parents would sit / stand at the team practicing next to them

Are people in New York OK? I'm seeing some very concerning content from up there.

Millennials must have a $525,000 annual salary to be happy: Millennials said in a survey they needed $525,000 a year to be happy. Here's what a Nobel prize winner's research says about money and happiness. (msn.com)

Was the mail lady (that sentence has always made me laugh a little) I pushed her out of the frozen crap my neighbor left in front of his mail box. Then she handed me my mail. Including my extended Derailluer hanger for F.B.B. Shifting, restored! Even the 32-11 cassette.
....I think that's it....I think I'm done with the maintenance of the horde. One more set of Reynolds to look over...then I'm done...

I actually read the thing, and here was the rigorous data collection logic applied to the survey:
- They asked people their age
- They asked them how much they thought they needed to retire
- They asked them how much they had saved toward that goal

I think surveys are getting more and more worserer. I saw this posted survey a bit ago, and within plus or minus two days I saw an article with a title like "Gen Xers are furthest from their retirement goals!!!" (ok, the exclamation points might be mine).

I had a delightful ride this morning, on the old route I used to do before train construction began and it became populated with aggressive dump truck drivers. Now, some years later, those guys are out of work, and the bicycle reclaims its road. At least for the remainder of the winter, I will likely continue with that route. It has a 20 km stretch with no topes. Delightful. It is a pleasant 91F here in north central Yucatán. Partly sunny and the roads are dry.

I don’t know if the rest of the States have Jason’s Deli restaurants but my wife and I went to one today for lunch and there was a large platter of big chocolate chip cookies sitting out with a sign to help yourself. I asked a worker and they said they were out of spec - overdone. I love burnt chocolate chip cookies. The worker said to take as many as I wanted. Since the place was vacant due to the sub-zero temps, I took 4.
