Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

DANG!! Humidity is 93 outside, so humid that when I stepped out of the air conditioned gym my glasses fogged up.

Now that I'm home the humidity is 76 inside. Time for some AC.

It's terribly humid here. Must be all that steam Pence blows. Same thing happened with my glasses when I got out of the car last week.

What is a PTT test, also a PTINR test?

These are often called clotting tests, they test the function of certain protein clotting factors in the blood. Sometimes they are routinely ordered before surgery to ensure no unusual bleeding problems. Feel free to PM me if any specific concerns.

I hate the trainer, but it's really pretty remarkable how much better of a workout you can get in a shorter period of time compared to riding around in a city full of traffic, lights, signs, etc. That's my not very deep thought for the day.

Ok that makes sense, those are part of the pre-op exams I need before my upcoming shoulder surgery. I've had hernia surgery before but don't recall needing a pre-op physical. This shoulder thing must be the real deal, even though "just" arthroscopic.

If I could do all my structured stuff on the trainer, I would be a happy soul.
