I did some more work on it today.
I cobbled a kickstand to it, and painted the chain.
Not sure if there's anything wrong with painting a bike chain, but it was the option available to me so my pants legs don't keep getting rust on them.
I cleaned and wiped it down as best as possible and took a rattle can to it.

HnS the reason I say that is because the lub on the chain is supposed to take care of the rust,,,, you're gonna have to pin your pants leg back,,,,,

Btw I only had the problem wen wearing my slip on low tops, my boots fill out my pants cuff more preventing the issue.

I've got a 5 dollar goodwill TMNT kid's bike I was going to do something similar to. Instead of raising the seat I was just gonna put the largest ape hangers on the front so you could stand and cruise.
Dope build though and I think finding all the parts in a creek bed make it hella cool

Btw I can tell you from trying to ride this thing standing up that it's not really easy.
Not that it's a difficult feat, but just doesn't feel right.
It would be cool to rake the forks and make a mini lowrider bike.
Whatever you do I'd love to see a picture of it.

I put on together like that...only problem I had was the bike was always lifting the front wheel off the ground but fun to ride on the lot here

I walked down to this dried up creek / canal behind my neighborhood where people like to dump their junk and found every single part I needed.
A next rocket with rear wheel ( holds air ), sprocket, chain, and pedals
Mongoose forks
? Handlebars
? headset
? Waterlogged seat
? Front wheel ( had and holds air )
Tubing to extend the seat and handlebars
I was inspired by what we called monkey bikes of which I had two at different times as a kid.
The handlebar extension is just a tight hammered in fit that's not going anywhere.
I heated up the headset to remove the post from it, then just forced the pipe into it and into the sprocket after that.
The seat post extension is made up of one pipe that firs into the frame then a smaller piece bolted into it to for the seat to fit onto.
I can't say I'm done working on this thing, but it works right now.
It's not up to the standard of bikes you guys build and is literally cobbled together, but I'm pretty sure it's something unique you may not have seen done before.
Obviously it has no purpose so that's probably why nobody has ever done this before.

They have an entire bunch of people in the Portland, OR area that specialize in building and riding 'extreme' bike designs. They can be pretty amazing.
