Children's Charity Cycling Event

TOO500 - Children's Chairty Event - 5 x 100 Mile Legs over 5 days - Funding Innovation for UK Children's Hospitals - SIGN UP!

#TOO500 is a 5 day event consisting of a century ride each day between June 12-16 2019. Visiting 6 of the countries top Children's Hospitals in order to raise money to fund first of a kind innovation projects and also to act as a catalyst for change.

The event has been set up by Oxfordshire based children's charity Thinking of Oscar. The charity is named after Oscar Cole (my son) who died very unexpectedly in June 2014. June 2019 will mark 5 years since his death and in that time we have come to realise that child health lacks both funding and focus on a global scale. Are aim is to raise £500,000, by setting up what we hope will be an iconic cycling challenge.

The ride:

DAY 1 - Oxford Children's Hospital to Stafford (168 km / 104 Miles) via Birmingham Children's Hospital.
DAY 2 - Stafford to Salford (176 km / 109 Miles) via Alder Hey Children's Hospital (Liverpool).
DAY 3 - Salford to Melton Mobury (172 km / 107 Miles) via Manchester Children's Hospital before heading out over the Peak District to the Sheffield Children's Hospital.
DAY 4 - Melton Mobury to Potters Bar (172 km / 107 Miles).
DAY 5 - Potters Bar to Blenheim Palace (164 km / 102 Miles) via Great Ormond Street Hospital. Those just riding day 5, the ride will commence at the London Olympic Park.

To register or find out more, please visit TOO500.co.uk. One day riders can register for as little as £50. To do the full 5 day ride it will cost £560 which includes accommodation and meals (you just have to bring your own transportation) Minimum fundraising does apply.
