Wheel build question: 28h dynamo disc wheel - lacing and gauge

I have a 28h Shutter Precision dynamo and original 28h Velocity Blunt rim sitting desperately needing me to build them. What would be the preferred spoke gauge and lacing for a good allarounder build (road, gravel, and fire roads)? I was thinking 2x 14g.

It would be a shame to use straight-gauge spokes with lightweight parts like those. How about DT Comps at least?
