Please help ID this vintage Trek

Hi, I'd appreciate any advice as to what model Trek this is. Also, if it's possible to determine the size from the picture I'd be grateful---I'm 5'10" and trying to figure out if this bike will fit me (it's 45 minutes away, so if it's a non-starter I'd prefer not to drive out). Finally, any thoughts on what a fair price would be would be wonderful.

I apologize for the link; I was having difficulty with the manage attachments function.
Thanks!

Looks to be a early 80's 412 with a 20inch/53mm frame set nice basic rider but would be two small for a rider 5'10".

This is a higher end bike than the 412 mentioned above.

I believe it is a 1983 700, based on the color scheme and the fact that I see Reynolds 531 stickers on the frame and fork.

I agree that it is too small for you, but if it's really cheap I would buy it anyway and resell it for a profit.

Thanks for the reply---what price should I be looking at to make it worthwhile to resell? The seller's asking $100 but there is some wiggle room from what he said.

I don't know where you are, but with a little cleanup, I could easily sell that bike in the summer here in NYC for $300+. If you're in an area without a hot market I'm sure it would be less, but even $200 would be doubling your money.

I'd get it as cheap as you can. Show up with cash and offer $60 and see what he says.
