Yes! Absolutely a cool story. Thanks for sharing it. Characters such as Tom are the true salt of the earth imo.
A quote of his from the article reminded me of another thread going here about the various merits of this forum...
"The secret to learning is being around people you think are smarter than you," he said.
And I think that’s the main reason I’m here. Not only is this forum made of some great personalities, but the shared knowledge & experience factor here is a true gift to recipients like myself.

BTW, I’m not so sure the lovely green Eisentraut was the bike he owned. Is that a Rainbow? Or an A Frame? Reading through the twitter thread, it appears that this Limited was the fella’s ‘Traut:
