Bike sketch prints 5x7 Nuovo Record and Continental
My wife makes art, and has asked me to see if there's interest in these 5 x 7 prints.
Both designs are popular when we booth at markets and such, but that's all on hold right now. Originals were done with pen and watercolor. These prints were done on archival paper and are packaged with a stiff backing.
$20 shipped anywhere in the U.S. I can work out international shipping if there's interest.
Worth framing and having on the wall near your bench or bikes maybe.
DM me with questions?
Aloha,
Billy.

The originals of these were sold, sadly.
She's half way convinced to make a series of bicycle component/frame paintings, so then there would be new originals.
Original art can cost 3-4x what a print would be, depending on the size and complexity.
Maybe I should set up a poll and see what parts folks would be interested in seeing as art?

Could she make a hand-drawn, limited-edition series? The Nuovo Record rear derailleur is absolutely ICONIC! So, that's a good place to start.
Bicycles tend to look all the same except for the saddle and the logo on the frame. In terms of drawing and redrawing, that's probably a good thing. For the bike, a water color wash, just a hint of color on the frame, might be a nice touch.
I don't know, she is the artist.

Neat. Given her style I think pre-70s/cute/fun bikes would be good subjects. I’m thinking like say an old Raleigh 3 speed with a basket overflowing with flowers. The 60s Schwinn catalogs have some fun photos that might cool to reproduce...

Without expanding this FS thread into something else, I'll say that her work does span a range of styles. Aerials/overhead beach shots, architecture, abstracts, all kinds. The catalogs are a great idea, thanks!
