Mini Hercules
I picked up this 20" wheel Hercules bicycle just wondering if someone could help me to date it
These are on the top of the seat tube
These are on the bottom bracket
the only thing I can find on the rear hub is an "A" and on the other side a "RES", looks like the resilion marking on a resilion hub I have.
Any information would be greatly appreciated - Gerry

Likely late 50's, just before the Raleigh takeover since it still has a Birmingham badge. The colour scheme and mattress saddle were typically 60's style so that's why I'd place it very close to 1960.

And even if the stem does have a Raleigh logo on top, it would still be late 50's old stock that Raleigh just put out into the market.
