Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

In the cycling world Sleeper must mean a pro riding around in jeans on a steel commuter with toe clips who'll smoke the $4k bike posers. The cylist is the engine, it's not about the bike.

You can tell it isn't because of the lugwork. Calfee's lugwork is a bit different.

What is it then? You should take an outdoor picture - the lighting doesn't do it justice there.

The thread that you are describing is 'Show me what you wear when dressed as a Sleeper'..

This thread is about the bike and not the rider.

SS Huffy Concours Professional. It now has some old really scraped up SPD's on it and a mis matched black and blue saddle. It rides like a dream and has been known to piss off fred on the way to work.

As far as the engine, it's fat, hasn't shaved in too long and looks like a piece of trash. In reality it's a finally tuned pedaling machine.
