Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Shifters 2008 Fuji Cross Comp

I want to replace the rubber hoods on my 2008 Fuji Cross Comp, they feel rather sticky and cleaning doesn't seem to fix it. Does anyone know what number shifters they would be? The only specs I can find just say Shimano 105 STI, they are 10 speed. Also the cable comes out the top on these, do I need to remove the cable to replace the rubber?

I'm pretty sure they would be 5600 given the age and being 10 speed?

5600 is correct. You might as well replace your shifter cables and housings at the same time..
