Regardless of brand, I would avoid 'cycling' specific goggles. They will be way overpriced the job a ski/snowboard goggle can do. I paid less than $20 for the Bolle goggles I used this winter and they have no signs of letting up for the coming winter.

mr john4789 can you describe a bit the bole goggles? fogging, comfort, fit over glasses well, what type of glasses you have, were can i get them and what are the cons of these glasses do you have picture of them with you on them. are they too warm in the summer? can you see at night with them

admonisher, edit: i've used it for one season. they have a great, almost uninterrputed field of vision. they fit seamlessly over small glasses, but i adjusted the adjustable strap for my larger glasses. to avoid dry eyes, i use them whenever the weather gets my eyes cool.
i would actually prefer safari eyeglasses with blinders, or i would prefer actual swimming goggles. i wear these because i don't wear contacts.
i have also tried prescription sunglasses, but they don't block cold wind well.

I think that my be the ebst choice so far except of course it doesnt protect for the sun but its great

I can't wear goggles, they fog and freeze. I have very nice Anon goggles since I snowboard too. I have similar issues with wrap sun glasses too, fog over with sweat, then freezes. I use Catcrap, it helps a little.

I'm riding in Minnesota and have commuted in temps below -15F. I'm interested in something that allow good airflow to vent out the sweat. I have some Tifosis and they fogged over this morning at a stop light - it was about 60F with high humidity.

I know I'm an oddball, getting so hot in the cold temps. I'm riding with open skin in sub-zero temps to keep from over heating, other people where a Balaclava when it's 50F. I'm hoping there are others out there that have found a good design for the hot-blooded folks. My first thought is try the safety glasses from Home Depot, since these are designed for people who are getting hot working and are not moving a lot.

This was short ride when it was -7F, the goggles were OK that day.

Question for the group. I saw a gentleman Friday morning on the trail with a bike helmet that had a smoked visor shield on it. Does anyone have experience with those or know if something like this is in production and not a homemade item?

The visor looked like the ones you'd see on ear protection helmets for chainsaw/weekwhacking.

I've had problems with my ski goggles fogging. I was going to increase the size of the vent holes when I realized the ventilation slider could be removed. I didn't get a chance to try it last winter, but I think it should help.

I thought that I'm crazy or something!
Just wanted to say that they may be the perfect decision. Though my friend tried to copy me but in the end he said that he feels uncomfortable in such glasses at all. Depends on the person, maybe. Anyway, they're designed for protection (from wind, dirt, rain,sun, insects or anything at all). I even can recommend this motorcycle riding glasses review -- not all of them but some are perfect. (I use Vert, by the way)

I bought Scott anti-fog ski goggles from the local ski and bike shop. They work great! Would suggest the clear lens if possible so that you might have more ability to wear them in darker or night time conditions

For the dark or cloudy days, I just use yellow safety glasses.
