How to transport a baby in a cargo bike

My wife and I are buying a Nihola Family cargo bike. We have a 9 month old baby. I sent an email to Nihola and they said their bench is designed for 12+ months.

Is there a way to install our Grieco 4-ever car seat securely in the Nihola cargo box?

If not, can someone recommend me an inexpensive child seat for the next three summer months?

We live in Canada and don’t want to waste the nice Summer weather

From reading only (no experience), the steco baby mee might be something for you. Or google 'weberschale', a german company offers a seat for very young ones. I have seen pictures of people suspending these seats in their cargo boxes using some straps.

I always strapped the babies carry seat into our two wheeled cart. You need to look inside the Nihola cargo area and measure the space. You find a product that will fit inside and safely restrain the baby. You may need to modify the Nihola or baby carrier or both to make it work. Appropriate products were easy to find in 1989. If you are uneasy about putting a baby in the cargo area of a three wheeler or a child cart than you shouldn't put the baby in a car either.
