What about fixed gear do you dislike?
Basically what the title of the thread is. Feel free take the question in whatever context you please.
It doesn't have to be about the actual bikes per say.
It could be something you commonly see that drives you insane.
Could be about the culture. The "scene". Downward saddle angles...the bright colors. lulz.
Lets hear it.

1. Nice vintage bicycles being hacked up to make fixies.
2. Only one gear. Gears were invented for a good reason.
3. No coasting. Freewheels were also invented for a good reason.

i feel "not being able to coast" and "only having one gear" should not be allowed as answers..
thats like, what don't you like about hiking? - all the walking...

Long steep downhills without a brake suck.
The farting thing is an actual issue
And +1 to shapelike, bunnyhops/curb hops are a bit more involved and need a lot more concentration (for me) to pull off without a rim-slap.

Long rides with long and steep ascents and descents.
Being labeled a hipster because my bike's a little on the tarck side and I have a mess bag.
Folks who refuse to run a brake because it's uncool (Once saw a guy run into a curb to stop. His plan stopped the bike, but he kept going, doing an inverted mctwist onto the sidewalk.)
Being sneered at by roadies and or messengers. (Not all that common.)

i'm pretty sure most will agree: the hipster tax.
i love building and buying as much as the next guy, but when 30 year old bikes are reaching $200.. i just don't get it.
