abracapocus..... Ohhhhh now I just feel bad..... ahhhhhhhhhhh Looking good for a ride tomorrow though..... (KNOCK ON WOOD)..... Hmmm I don't think they are going to let me ride my road bike while they are riding the mountain bikes.... The plan is to ride the trail in Keystone Heights and then ride up to Goldshead state park. They say its NOT FAIR when I ride the road bike.... I try to tell them I am heavier so it just evens it out... But they aren't buying it..... hahaha

Hmmmm.....

My problem is when I don't ride it means I have the gainful going on.

When I do it means I'm "between projects" or "looking for inspiration" and let me tell you, it's a heck of a dilemma. I do get some of my best inspiration on the bike. I also can get out some of the funk and ennui that regular "work" type work can bring and makes me wanna say "Take this job and shove it..."

Painted the rumpus room, instead of riding.

Just what is a "rumpus" anyway, that we name a room after it?

I didn't ride Friday, Saturday, and probably not today either... the bike's been down for an overhaul, and of course family comes over yesterday and I couldn't finish the job. At least I can finish it today and maybe ride tonight.

ahsposo, I solve that problem by riding to the "gainful."

zzOtherlandzz, someone else has solved your problem:

Redneck Lawnmower by MikeJonesPhoto, on Flickr

dahut, don't you sit on the davenport in your rumpus room wearing dungarees? ;-)

FunkyStickman, are you starting to get twitchy yet?

No ride Sunday. I would've had to go really early in the morning, like around 7, and I just couldn't get it going. I also felt kind of funky all day. Is Fall allergy season here already?

But today I'm heading out with a friend to the Arabia Mountain Trail. It'll be the first time I carry the bike somewhere to ride. Should be fun! Hopefully they aren't serious about that whole "mountain" thing. :-D

zzOtherlandzz, someone else has solved your problem:.... Thank god it has brakes on that thing... I would hate to have it get away from me when I was riding/cutting the grass.... That looks like a fun trail to ride for sure, I hope your riding partner let you take some pictures ...

I hit the big 70 milestone today so I took the day off to celebrate. I will need to ride extra tomorrow to work off the great meal and B-day cake the wife loaded me up on. I thought I might get out later this evening but the weatherman has put the stop to that.

Happy Labor Day everyone.

Sinus infections are evil. I spent most of my childhood struggling with them. Get well soon!

Not a good thing, hope you feel better tomorrow. I didn't ride today either, the daughter was here but she wasn't feeling well so we just hung out at the house.

Urg, feel like crap. Summer cold maybe? No ride, but I did make a batch of ciabatta rolls. Of course, I had to nap between folds and while it was rising. zzOtherlandzz, 103??? Dude I would totally be hallucinating if I had a fever that high.

MY BAD... I meant 103 outside... Hmmmm not sure what ciabatta rolls are... Google is my friend though

Hope you feel better so you can go play on your new bike.....

Tomorrow blond friend (Jay) says he wants to ride. We are going to go check out the trail again and see if they got it all paved. I'm thinking there wont be any workmen/women on Sunday to kick us off LOL ....

zzOtherlandzz, oh, OUTSIDE not INSIDE you. Maybe I'm the one with the fever.

Slo Spoke, bread isn't hard. It's just not instant gratification food.

No ride today. Nyquil hangover. Hoping to commute tomorrow so I'm saving my energy.
