I'd spend $200 for either that frame or the components and be happy. It doesn't seem anyone will get it for that though. He's apparently using CL to promote his eBay auction -- the same bike is listed on PDX CL (and it looks like the bike is in Portland) with a link to the eBay listing. The auction is up to $425 plus $100 shipping. It's still not a bad deal at that price IMO. I think it'll go higher.
That's too bad. I didn't even bother opening the ebay listing and just assumed the bike was in NY. Figured if someone reached out quick enough, they could get it for the $200 without bothering with ebay...but I thought that price seemed low, considering what Iv seen others go for. Ill need to look into ads like that more next time...

Gary Fisher Hoo-Koo-E-Koo $125.00
https://stlouis.craigslist.org/bik/6069029664.html
This bike needs a home. Not mine, don't know seller.
Emailed him to get stand over height, 27-28" was his reply. He got the size listed in the ad from the internet.
If it was a 22" frame I would be out riding on it.
Willing to go look at it if needed.

We just don't have the room for them, but I'm willing to take a look for you if really interested. If $200 for both bikes, it's not a bad deal at all. Also note these are Florida bikes (bad thing) but garaged the whole time (good thing).

1987 Panasonic DX-6000 54cm on Craigslist in Asheville for $150
If you want this bike, I'm happy to facilitate. My plate is full even though I just restored - as in two weeks ago - a 1987 DX-4000 with a similar paint job (I'm not going to buy it for myself)!

I've been holding off grabbing anything until I get my inventory down to a sane level. Oh well.

1981 Miyata 1000 - 62cm - $325
Top of the line vintage touring bike. 62cm size, with a 58cm top tube. Very stock and original with a Suntour Cyclone 3x5 drivetrain, cantilever brakes, stock rear rack. Seat, brake hoods, and bar wrap are not stock, otherwise it's an excellent specimen. Paint chips in accordance with it's age, but paint is overall in great shape. Needs a good cleaning and a light tune, and some new tires wouldn't hurt.

You can say that again. I usually go out at least 100 miles of town, or to France to pick bikes. NYC kinda blows chunks.

I've started checking hudsonvalley craigslist, because economically weak areas are best for bargains. That's where our weekend place is, in a rural area.
