From the age of low end Italian components...

Vintage Zanella Italian Steel Road Bike - 59cm - $300 (Fan)

make / manufacturer: Zanella

Up for sale, a gorgeous, vintage Zanella Italian Road Bike. Frame size is 59cm. This is a beautifully made lugged steel frame and is surprisingly light weight. The bike shifts and rides smoothly. Tires recently replaced with super durable Gatorskin Hardshell Ultra 700x23. Would also make a great contender for a single speed or fixed gear bike as well if that's your thing. Let me know if you have any questions. Thanks.

dirty, stripped brake bolt, small dent on top tube (not pictured), brooks' leather is starting to dry out... but probably still a good deal at $200. An enthusiast may get it for less, if you describe what it needs for proper care, and mention the cost.

COLNAGO Decor Master Olympic 58cm 30th Edition - $1200 (cambridge)

© craigslist - Map data © OpenStreetMap
114 CHARLES ST
(google map)

condition: excellent
make / manufacturer: Ernesto Colnago
model name / number: Decor Master Olympic
58cm measured C-C. Full Campagnolo Chorus group (including hubs). Ambrosio Giro d'Italia rims. Iscaselle Giro d'Italia saddle. Pantographed stem.

Always stored indoors. I bought it from the original owner in Switzerland in like-new condition and rode it for ten days in France, then brought it back here. A few rub marks on the paint from traveling as visible in the photos. (In particular observe there is a mark on the head tube, on the down tube, and on the seat tube.) Chrome is marvelous shape. Minor wear on the bar tape. Tires have about 500 miles on them, and are in fine condition. One of the more gorgeous bikes I have owned.

Pedals not included. I might be interested in a trade for cyclocross disc wheels of comparable value. Thank you for your interest.

He said he's interested in the Gran Turismo. Maybe someone here wants one or more of the other two?

Buyers market spring deals in ME, lots of interesting stuff under 200 or even 150 but the real action seems to have slipped under 100 mark in most of the state. Granted both bikes below are small but market here is weak for sellers right now.

Neat! I forget the name of this, but it's a plastic monocoque frame from the mid-70's. It appears in a bike design book my wife got me for Christmas.

EDIT: Others below have corrected my mistaken dating on this bike. Early 60's...

So you're saying it'd be worth getting it for free, restoring it, and marketing it to three-speed lovers?
