The Bike Type Attractiveness Poll
Based only on looks, which TYPE of bike looks the most awesome? If you take the best looking bike of any given category, which makes your drool the most?
I know some have one of each of these types of bike, while others have only one, but regardless of whether you would actually ever ride one, which type of bike makes you wish for unlimited funds?
I also know I could have been more specific in the categories, but this will get us started.

Pretty sure this is a universal fact....
Other than the Big Wheels, I'd go with a true rugged hard tail mountain bike. (Not the full suspension. Even when those have a real world use they look weird to me)
I like the aggressive look of a mountain bike. Not the most ideal ride on anything less than squishy dirt or root covered trails, but on looks alone...no contest for me.

Aren't all fixed-gear bikes single speed by definition? 
(OK... I know there can be some dual-cog hubs.)
SS can be either FG or freewheel. There's a Venn Diagram in there somewhere!
My favorite is a traditional road frame with lugged and brazed joints. Rivendell comes to mind, but I know there are others.

I am pretty much only ride traditional road bikes. But I surely like all styles of bikes. So, considering aesthetics AND function...IMO each style of bike looks best in the setting it is design is intended for. That is to say, for example, that a mountain bike would look a bit silly in the TdF peloton. But I think that same mountain bike looks good on a nice trail. I can find...I don't know if "beauty" is the right word...maybe "appreciation"... for all styles of bikes. Even when walking the streets of NYC/Manhattan, I enjoy looking at all the bikes used by the bike delivery couriers locked up along the sidewalks. What I really don't like is the color/paint/decal scheme on many of the newer bikes. IMO, less is more when it comes to all that. Why distract from the beauty of a nice machine will all that crap!?!?

I find suspension looks clunky. And I didn't like riding it the one time I tried it.
DT shifting with aero drop bar levers is my sweet spot of nice looking bikes.
I also appreciate nice clean BMX & track bikes.

Yeah, miles ahead of everything like adjustable anodized water bottle cages that were either too tight to slide a bottle into or not tight enough to hold the bottle when things got rough.
Or the anodized Cook Brothers cranks that were only slightly stiffer than al dente spaghetti.
Or the bouncy Manitou fork that relied on elastomer marshmallows for its travel and had zero compression or rebound damping.
I guess I don’t miss antiquated 90s stuff after all.

I do wish Cook Brothers still made cranks even if not anodized funky colors they looked cool maybe they could figure out a way to stiffen them up a bit but still retain that cool look. Also wish someone did a Kooka crank in rasta colors that didn't crack.
