Overhauling a 2002 SID SL Front Shock

I need to overhaul a '02 SID SL that is leaking oil. Anyone know a LBS in SF Bay Area, preferably in the North Bay, that can do this work in-house? I'm willing to put about $100 into an overhaul. Does anyone think it is worth putting in more before going to a new shock like Marzocchi MX Comp? BTW, the shock is for XC -- rider weight about 190 lbs. Thx.

Paul,
Well, $100 will get you a full overhaul (minus bushings and any hard parts, those are a little extra), and would pay for shipping both ways to Ventura, which is where I'm at.
Let me know if you can't find anyone local. Yes, an '02 SID is definately worth rebuilding unless it has major mechanical damage.

That is a keeper for XC esp. if you use the bar mounted lockout. A little flexy but much lighter then the Zoke.

Thanks for your replies. Ed, I'll search a bit longer for a LBS solution -- will contact you if I still cannot find one.
