My latest project, a factory fendered bike, a circa 1960 Royal Nord President, made in Belgium. Truly multinational,it has "Spitfire" fenders (UK?) Brampton 3speed (England) Weinmann brakes (Swiss). The marble paint and hand painted striping is outstanding.

For those who like black mudguards, the 1979 Raleigh DL1. Between the full chain case and the rear mudguard it takes about an hour to fix a rear flat! Presenting "Sir Wayes A. Tonne"

I remember that one Noglider....we took a ride with a small group to a small bespoke frame builder in Newark. Rode my led-sled that day too. Good times.

How could I forget! And your sprocket fell off. Or maybe it was Huzefa's sprocket. Anyway, I helped to put it back on.

That frame builder is now a science teacher at the Newark Museum.

That was Huzefa's...If I recall, " you can adjust a Sturmey hub with your eye's closed'! Still in the W. Village during the week? I find myself working at 10th & Ave A. If so, we should plan a city ride.

Yes! I'll call you!

And yes, I can adjust an AW hub with my eyes closed, literally.

I'm really tempted to buy the Buddy Flaps with the 'trucker girl' silhouette - but am a bit concerned that the fairer gender on our group rides wouldn't get the joke - I would have some splainin' to do!

We live in uptight times, my sophisticated southern sense of humor doesn't always go over real well here in seattle
