Ok, I 've put on a couple hundred miles on my Brommie S SS. I am enjoying it but have some questions/concerns.
1. My heel hits the rolling wheels that also act as the "kick stand." The easy rollers are slightly narrower. Does this set up make a difference? Anyone just take them off?
2. When I stand up to go up a hill the front end has a high pitched creak. Seems like it is in the headset. Any thoughts/advice? I live 2+ hours from "L"BS at which I bought the bike.
3. Can you put on Ergo Bar ends and a bar end mirror as well? I have never mastered the eyeglass mirror or helmet mirror. I do like the bike bar end mirrors and want more hand positions than just what the flat S bar provides........

I do not think easy rollers will make a difference, I have them and still have the same issue in fact because they are thinner they get stuck in the sides of my shoe. I found by changed the position of my footing help avoid it happening most of the time.

I also get the creaking, I got some improvement by greasing the pivot joints.

I have not kicked my EZ wheels in Months..

a Rubber cabinet foot can be screwed on instead of the wheels
and It certainly won't roll.. so parking on a hill will be OK. no rolling away ..

Grease the bolt that holds the rubber suspension piece on,
and that stops that squeak.

I am beginning to kick them less often. I don't know why but I am less troubled by this than I might be otherwise. Maybe my Brompton has cast a spell on me.
Are you talking about the black elastomer/plastic that you covers that bolt that you release when releasing the rear triangle and folding the rear wheel under to "park" the bike?
What kind of grease? I don't want to damage the elastomer/plastic suspension piece.
Also would you get the GC2 or 3?

Yes..

I used a bit of the same grease I use to pack the hub bearings.

Yes, that elastomer that get squeezed when you press down the saddle. You need to open the nut at the back of the elastomer and take the screw out. Silicon greases are more plastic/rubber friendly. I have on order the one on the right in this table for the same application.

The GC3 does not have the opening on the end. I tried GC2 for the same reason (hole for mirror) but did not like it so ended up with GR2 which I like very much but it has no hole. Still contemplating how to solve the mirror issue.

As for the easy wheels, I got used to it over time, no heel strikes anymore. Also tried larger rollerblade wheel for better rolability but there were too big and hit my shoe.

We are hitting the same Brompton issues. Have you found a solution for water bottle mount? ;-)

Edit: also got LS100 to stiffen the handlebar. Have not installed it yet. Probably not really needed but I was curious how it works.

the GC2 end clamps around the grip and the bar , as does the others , with one bolt.

You could drill outremove the Metal and plastic preventing the mirror from fitting thru..

FWIW,

I find I can reach around the bar end, and get the tip of the brake lever,
and potentially, apply the brakes

A mirror in the end, somewhat, blocks that .

still am not sure about the squeaking
