Bicycle Wheel Warehouse gravel wheels
Ordered a pair of wheels with Pure rims with DT Swiss spokes. Tire range 25-44 so I can use my almost new stock of Schwalbe Mondials 35s. 300 bucks not expensive but not cheap atleast for me I like that DT Swiss spokes are stocked at most bike shops so that is a plus. My question is have anyone of you have experience with this company? How did you like or dislike the wheels? I’m stuck with them regardless Fed Ex will have them here in Hondo Texas on Tuesday.

I've had a set of BWW wheels in use for about 8 years with zero issues. Mavic CXP33 rims with 32 DT Competition spokes f&r on Ultegra hubs. 8 years of steady if not heavy use. A mix of road and gravel rides. Mostly with a rider about 170 - 200 lbs. I don't remember ever needing to touch them with a spoke wrench, definitely not often or anything major. I know they are running tight and true right now. I've never had any reason to contact BWW since I got them, but I remember being happy with the ordering process and status updates during the building and shipping processes. I build my own wheels now, but I wouldn't hesiate to buy from them again.

I just got a set of Blackset Race road wheels with the Pure hubs. Under 1500 grams for the set, for $320. ($400 - 20% coupon)
They came 100% true and spin and look nice. I have few miles on them, but would be surprised if I had any issues long term.
Mine are gloss black... I may be cleaning/lightly sanding them, and then coating with a clear satin spray to better match the rest of the bike. (I will tape off the braking surface and spokes)
