Sounds to me that Rick Roberts got hurt. Great!
There is enough in the podcast to make a judge look at Rick Roberts in the eye while dismissing such case. At least we can hope.

On 3/23 he claimed he would give Gary another 24 hour. So yes, he should have filed today. I have not seen an updated pod cast yet so don't know the outcome.
But he adds that he has nothing against cyclist, just, you stay in your lane, and I'll stay in mine. How is that for VC?

LOL so on a six lane road... three each way, I can take the entire right lane and he'll be happy? I can live with that. Gee, a whole lane... cool.

One additional comment,
Rick Roberts, a strict conservative, has been a strong advocate of torte reform, one who strongly adhores frivolous lawsuits. So, I guess, we should expect his suit to make it to the Supreme Court.
Maybe he should just get a thicker skin.

There wasn't really much of a rant. Most of the show was commercials (generally in five minute blocks, sometimes with only a minute or two of programming in between). Listening to the pod cast was annoying enough, but at least I could skip ahead. How could anyone keep a radio tuned to this garbage, even if the content were worth listening to?

Writting to that guy is useless, he is a shock jocky and an idiot. Listenning to the station is counterproductive since you are increasing his ratings, which is exactly what he wants. Best thing you can do is, don't listen to that station, write to the station manager informing them that you stopped listenning tot he station because of this, or express your comments (in inteligent way) about that show. Don't forget to mention that you also be contacting organizations that advertise on that station (not just the show).
You can also stop using the products and services that advertise on that station, and write them a letter telling them why you stopped using their products or services. For example if you have cingular cancel the service make sure to tell them why you are doing it. Tell your friends to do the same.

In the broadcast world, the commercials ARE THE CONTENT.
