I really don't know. The CLB hanger was designed to work with a Stronglight headset. If the tooth pattern on your headset is the same as a Stronglight, it ought to work.

the Blue looks the part on screen, not the easiest to match.
there is a "slap-dash" to French paint that is almost impossible to have a knowledgeable bike painter be willing to replicate.
There is just the right amount of overspray and then attention on your part as to not flood the top eye lettering that you effort reads authentic.
The shifter stop is lower than I would have placed it, but that is where is was brazed in place.
I like the headset toothed spacer and integrated cable anchor. I have not seen one before, actually happy for you that the steerer had enough length to fit it all together.
I need to get to work on a C. Dardenne soon... a bit of effort to find the correct graphics. The head tube I think I have identified... the downtube I have referenced all kinds of materials and fonts. Currently it has the dreaded powdercoat... and a real hodgepodge of parts... probably to end up tout French

Lovely! Good choice in tape color, that’d be my pick. Not that it matters one bit! B. Carre is on the right time, right place (right price) short list. Looking forward to more. Enjoy!

Beautiful work on this one @CV-6, everything looks fantastic and very well executed. I'll look forward to the completed build being shown here. Well done on your photography also.

A left turn at Albuquerque...
The intent of this build was to sort of fill a hole in my collection. That of a Sauvage Lejeune. Sure it wasn't the real thing, but it was going to suffice. Then the below item came up on eBay and I snagged it. So now this project goes on the back back burner until I decide what to do. I am looking forward to the one below. Still want that 753 Lejeune, though.

Lynn, thanks for posting this wonderful photo essay. I loved seeing how your Carre came together. I think you've rather inspired me to take mine out for a long ride today.
