Help ID This Lightning Phantom

Recumbent What IS that thing?! Recumbents may be odd looking, but they have many advantages over a "wedgie" bicycle. Discuss the in's and out's recumbent lifestyle in the recumbent forum.

Year, etc.

I know it's an older Lightning but trying to find some specs.

Thanks!

Find a serial number and ask the manufacturer (Lighning Cycle Dynamics.) I think the SN should be on the underside of the bottom bracket.

It looks like you have a Shockster on the rear. A Shockster was an after-market item. I don't think they're in business anymore.

Good eye. Yes. A Shockster is on it . It's my first recumbent. For $300, I thought I'd give it a try. Just trying to figure out year and specs. I know it's a CroMo frame.

I'll look for the SN

Thanks
