Anyone have a source for rust/ brown leather grips. Rubber grips on my old Raleigh are 4".

Thanks

Public sells these, linked below. No idea about quality, but they have some other grips on their site that are “twist shift” specific. I mention this because the “twist grip” right side is 100mm and the other side 130mm on the other set. The set linked below does not specify length, but I assume it is also 100/130 like the other set. The linked set is cheap, so maybe buy 2 sets to get two 100mm grips.

Did Raleigh ever use leather grips back in the day? I see a lot of people using ones like the Brooks these days but it seems like a newer invention.

I bought a new Public bike cheap to flip from someone who didn't have a clue about assembly. It had those grips and they are vinyl or pleather over a thin padding, the stitching was done very well.

Brooks leather ring grips? the rings are secured by 3 spokes between the aluminum ends
so you might buy more leather rings and re thread 3 more spokes. so custom width..

Don't think so.

I need a bit of padding on the grip so I'm going to upgrade. Looking for a decent pair without spending $70-$80.
