Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I have owned a total of 11. Sold 5, broke 2, currently have 4.
If it helps, you have double the number of bikes I do, though the S1 might get reincarnated as a trainer biker.

I haven't had a good soaking like that in a while.Got caught in two heavy rain showers - the first was kind of fun, the second kind of stung

It's been raining most of the day, here. I hope that it clears out for tomorrow - I'd like to get in a ride, both for the exercise and so that I can have the caloric budget for some of the chocolate chocolate chip gelato that was on BOGO at my LGS today.

Well, I really screwed up royally today. Messed up the takeout order for our 35th official anniversary dinner. I gave up my entree and got a few pieces.

First real rain of the season. We have left the really hot weather behind, and entered into late afternoon high wind gusts and the occasional shower. Yesterday we got just a taste; today it's the real thing. A nice change.

We celebrate 29 in a few weeks. I'll see if I can do a better job. But I imagine we'll eat in. Not much carry-out food here in Mayberry.

Not a very high bar, but I'm sure you have enough in the account to survive a medium-size fail.

I got soaked on my walk Saturday. It was not fun. And guess what Strava did with my activity?

This afternoon I was feeling kinda beat after 34 miles in the heat. But now I'm fully charged!

Great ride today, temps in the 80s except in the city which was 70s. No possums, dead or alive. No snakes. The helicopter tape on the chainstay is doing its job.

The wildflowers are out in force! 65 miles around the hills, great ride.

Gorgeous photo. The weather here has been outstanding. Is that in the north bay? Or somewhere on the peninsula?

Thanks! It's up on Ridgecrest Blvd in Mt Tamalpais State Park, in Marin. Absolutely gorgeous today. And the SP is closed to cars, so it's like cycling paradise up there!

Fantastic. I need to get over there. I usually ride in the East Bay hills. Tam is a favorite, though. Thanks for the photo!
