Is anyone on here participating this Saturday?

I don't think I'll ride in it as I'm planning to be pretty hung over but I think I'll hang around the start/finish at Thomson sq. park and check out the scene.

Might be tricky considering the BK Bike Jumble is the same day. Such a good day for bikes in NYC!

Ok, that is all, end transmission, bye!

Have you been to a Jumble before? What should I expect? hidden gems of awesome or heaps of junk ready for my impulsive habit to rue its ugly head.

lock up your bike to the fence, not enough room in the inner tables to walk around with your bike.

both.

I think of the Jumble as being like eBay in person, except with stuff that's not as good and prices that are higher. Still, as someone who enjoys "antiquing" for bike stuff, I wouldn't turn it down if I had the time (which I don't in this case).

I found a San marco rolls saddle for $20 bucks. I'm pretty happy about that. I also picked up a Campy hat because impulse buy.

Additionally, I caught the start of suffer cat in the park. Not a terrible Saturday!
