Addiction 2021.1

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Survival is my goal for 2021.

A podium would be nice too.

So far all I checked was indexing back in stand and of course now works perfectly. I am open to suggestions.
If your new chain is skipping on the cassette you need a new cassette. If it skips on the chainrings then they are worn.
I prefer to trash the entire drivetrain and replace it all at once, at least that's what I did when I was working.

So far I've been able to fully bend and straighten my knees, so 2021 hasn't been entirely bad.

pedal backward, watch the derailleur. Look for it to jump.. of it does bad spot in the chain.

I was watching a concert on the trainer tonight and got to thinking about this:

Encores at live music performances - yea or nay?

They had damn well better if they're going to hold back a couple of their biggest hits.

Encores have jumped the shark

Back in the day they were spontaneous based on the crowd reaction and enthusiasm. Now they are choreographed, and typically the same from show to show.

Good heavens.

Watching those guys is scary and fascinating all at once. Getting to that kind of weight is dedication magnified. I bet it takes about an hour warm-up for that minute of lifting. Major kudos.
