Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

USB LIGHTS comparison
What do you think about the new KNOG usb set, 1 watt each vs the Blackburn Flea's USB .5 watt??? By the set prices on EBAY are around $50 a set for Knogs vs $40 for the Blackburn set. Is the price 10 or so buck upcharge worth it for the KNOG? trying to keep 2 sets under 100 bucks, and yes I would like for them to be USB rechargeables (or use AA batteries) I have 10 rechargeable at home!!! I make my trips home (6+miles) around dusk everyday.
Thanks for your help folks!

Yes I tried the appropriate forum first! only 1 reply in 12 hours

In real life applications, I'd rather go with the .5 watt. For battery life. Actually, a superflash.

But, you got mad battrees. Go nuts.

From, my experience with Knogs, they suck juice like no other. You'll need to make a habit of the recharging.

I have an Axiom light from Pmart: https://www.performancebike.com/bikes..._1097529_-1___ Its not crazy bright - I would equate it to the Flea - but it was dirt cheap and works pretty good. I like their strap system - more adjustable and seems more reliable than the Knogs.
