Redwood and Gloss blue. Both cool looking but the red just screams fast. Would like to order it with transparent sidewalls and an offset carbon seat post for a speedy look.

If you go to Specialized's site, and switch your region to Canada, you'll see much better pics, including the subtle upgrades for this year.

But the site seems to be down at the moment. Maybe they're updating other regions.
I seen them on Landry's, didn't think to change the region - thanks for the tip! Hopefully they're updating the website with the newer models but then again, the madness will start all over again haha

By the way, I'm using this to clean the matte finish with good results:

Dam I thought I was done with OCD and paint. Had it pretty bad with my mustang but Ceramic coatings are the way to go, I've been coating all my vehicles. It is a lot of prep work but a coated car makes cleaning a breeze...

Damn, that's a shine!

I'm pretty OCD with my cars. Won't own a black car for obvious reasons.

This one rarely even sees rain. 503hp makes it hard to hook in the wet.

I keep telling myself no more black vehicles but dam every time I get the itch, the best deal is with black paint. Sweet ride and yeah you might have some issues with water! Bucket list is to drive the Nurburging!

Haven't been to the Ring, but I did spend a day driving at COTA in Austin last fall. Kick in the pants.

Awesome! I drove my Vette at COTA...is was one of the funnest things I've ever done. Nothing like doing 140+ on the front stretch...

Nice! I really like how they're out of the way and kinda discreet. I wonder how that Flux 850 Headlight is...

Wow that is a long wait. Is that a pretty standard wait time for next years model?

How long do the stock tires on the Sirrus bikes usually last? I am nearing 1500 miles and starting to see some baldness so I am wondering how much longer I can go before really needing to replace them. I have the Sirrus 6.0 so they have the Roubaix Pro 2BR tires on them. Any suggestions on what to replace them with if I am doing 60% road, 35% asphalt trails and 5% gravel/crushed limestone trails?

Depends on the tire but I'd say 2000-2500 is a pretty safe bet on tires. As always your riding conditions and style will dictate whether you wear them out faster or slower.

I'm glad you finally got your X5! I've been meaning to post here that we are selling my wife's 2020 medium, which has less than 50 miles on it. We ended up getting a Turbo Vado SL for her instead. I have the X5 as well, and bought a Turbo Creo SL Comp Carbon Evo. I'm not selling my X5!

We are in San Jose and drive up to SF once or twice month to ride. Lunch at Fog City, and we like to (usually) ride from there to Fort Point along the Embarcadero, through Fisherman's Wharf, on the Municipal Pier, up the hill to Fort Mason, Marina Green, Chrissy Field, Fort Point and return. Social distancing is easy, and most people are wearing masks. Riding in the city during Covid has been a blast, with very few people, but it's been getting busy. Did I say I love my X5?

I replaced my Nimbus Reflect after 4500 miles. I put on Specialized Pathfinder Pro in 38mm, and could not be happier. I ride about 70-80% road, and the rest gravel.

I've been using Roubaix Pros (32mm) for several years now. They ride and wear as well as any good/supple/high performance tire I've used -- and I've tried most of 'em -- and better than most. They have wear dots. Those are the guide. Typically, the ones on the rear will be gone before those on the front. When the rear ones go, I buy a new tire, put it on the front and move the old front to rear. Rinse and repeat.

I've had exactly one flat with these tires in the years I've been using them: user error. I knew the rear was done, but kept riding it past its 'best before' date. For a combination of low rolling resistance, supple ride, handling, durability, and good puncture resistance those tires are hard to beat.

Hello all, I recently purchased a 2020 Sirrus X5 - it was an upgrade to a 1992 Cannondale M700 (yeah, it has been awhile) and so far the bike is awesome. Question though, this is my first carbon bike and I hear "creaks' occasionally coming from either the seatpost and stem/future shock, especially over rough terrain. Are those noises normal in a carbon bike, do all bikes creak a bit but when carbon it is just more pronounced? Perhaps parts are still settling in a bit but I do have a few hundred miles on the bike now. In general I have noticed the "sound" of the bike is quite different then other/past aluminum bikes I have ridden.

Thanks.

Talking Sirrus with upgrades!

Bought the 2016 Sirrus Sport last week. First acoustic bike for me in a long time, 30 years or more! Anyway, it had dedicated gravel tires on it and rolled too slowly for me. Went to Wheelhouse and they set it up with a used set of Zipp 404's and Victoria Road Tries. Wow! What a difference! I'll post pics when I got my obligatory 10 posts in and can show you how good she looks!
