Trek Emonda SLR carbon thickness

hi!
just yesterday I realized that when I touch the frame at a specific area... I hear a sound like the frame's material of the carbon in this area is very very slim like a paper.
I send you the video with the sound to understand what I mean.

on my previous carbon bike (Scott solace) I didn't have such a problem.

do you think that this maybe will be a bad carbon Taiwan bike construction?

Given the various posts concerning this project I suggest finding a bike shop. Your DIY doesn't seem to be going well.

First of all, SLR are light frames, and that means overall, the frame is just thin.
Secondly, the top of the toptube is especially thin because that's not a place where stress happens (so why put additional carbon layers there, right?).
Just be careful not to drop a wrench on the top tube because you may hear the sound of carbon cracking!

Most top tubes of high end carbon frames are actually like that. They found high strength is not needed there for riding. Crazy!!

I have a Gen 1 SLR and I can easily see the carbon flex when pressing my thumb on the top tube.

It's designed that way.. just ride it.

Designers have advanced CAAD software and they can plot the stresses of the bike and see where the most material will be needed to mitigate these stresses.

Sounds like my SLR 9. I personally don't worry about what the frame sounds like when taping on it.
