Today I finally rode my new Leader 725, it definitely is different than my Kilo, much more responsive when i turn. Only downside was that my saddle which was from my 1st bike from 2 years ago is as smooth as a nonstick frying pan so i kept slipping off. I'll have to ride more this weekend and adjust it as I go.

Today I was slightly intrigued with this bike, I'm over it at that price. Plus, I'm willing to bet it weighs 50lbs.

It would be an interesting grocery getter though.

I have only lived 16 years in this area, so I would missed them the last time around. Don't know if we get them this far south.

I grew up around those old rod brake bikes, so they strike a chord with me. My latest project has similar handlebars, down to the funky brake handles.

I say make a lower offer, see what the seller will take.

I sold a spare set of wheels, let Jaytron borrow my spare Romin, and I should be ordering a Garmin Edge 500 later tonight.

And I took the AP stats test today, and it was the easiest thing ever. Everyone finished early, and because we couldn't leave the room, we all took a nap. Least stressful AP test ever.

Hello, cheap living.

Edit : Today I made it to work about two minutes faster due to changing down to a 17 and then got my ass kicked all day because old porsche's don't have logical wiring.

Ater building my newbie friend a Kilo TT yesterday and leaving all the spacers and flipping the stem up, he decided to get brave and fashionable today, so I took half of the 5cm of spacers off and flipped the stem down. He liked it. Then he fell because he couldn't get out of the toeclips during our ride.

Today I feel well enough to sit in front of the computer, and I can slowly maneuver my wheelchair by myself.
Got hit by a car 9 days ago, driver blew past a stop sign and hit me.
Broke my right femur in 3, hurt my right shoulder, no fracture but still hurts a lot.
Had to have surgery to put some screws and a plate on my femur and now I need to focus on the physiotherapy, in about 2 months I'll be able to put some weight on my right leg, until then I'll be using a wheelchair and crutches once my shoulder heals.

The bike's fine and the driver's insurance will pay for all of my medical bills.

That sucks. I'm sorry that happened but glad it wasn't worse. It sound like a rough summer. Best of luck.

I've been thinking of using a front blinkie. Were you running anything like that??? Sometimes nothing would help if the driver is unaware they are even in a care.
