The Playstation would have been a dream gift for me about twenty years ago. But these days, I'm just not that interested in Tech.

I don't even carry a "Smart Phone" - and the only time I carry my Trac-Phone/Flip-phone or whatever it is, is when I'm going on a long ride. Otherwise it just languishes in a drawer until the battery dies.

How... Ever.

I had no idea how far video games had come. The game I got with my PS4 does sportscar racing, which I enjoy, but it also does livery design and... wait for it...

Photography. OMGiddy God!

`Nuff said. Here are some of the images I captured while the weather outside was waiting to kill me:

Spotted this '57 Ferrari 250 GT on PCH while I was riding to Malibu ...California dreamin'.

Also, on the same ride, a close squeeze on a temporary bike lane. Do bike helmets work as hard hats?

Checked into an LBS in Voorburg (NL) today for an errand and saw this. A very late steel Gazelle 'Special' (what?) in front of a pair of current Gazelle city bike models.

Beautiful Reynolds 531 frame with internal cable routing, 130mm rear, Veloce group, carbon fork, wonderful metallic dark blue color. I was kinda stunned by how good it looked. I candidly inquired, of course, as to why it was there, sitting in the showroom. Turned out to be a customer's bike, in for a service.

Sorry for the crappy phone pic.

No, the warranty is EXCELLENT! You just push a button that says "RESET", and it comes back, good-as-new

We did a club ride yesterday up to the end of Tapo Canyon, a road in the hills of Simi Valley, CA. First time ride for me on this road. You would think all the old trucks and cars in the woods of Southern California had been discovered, but this old Chevy truck was new to me.

My phone lens was steamed up, so its a fuzzy looking old truck.

Cool, gray, but a great ride.

Nice ride out for a little foray.

I would have laid out the spoils on a rock for a picture, but I am certain they would have blown away. Wind speed -- South 31 mph, gusting up to 48 mph... it was a difficult ride back home, but when you're packing a nice little haul of of morels not much bothers you.
