And God said let it rain
It poured then turned to freezing rain, it came down over my eyes through the vents in my ski mask. The bike and electronics worked like a charm.

Chinese but Samsung batteries, just blue wrapped but i did put it in a basket and covered it with a removable cover i made from half an inflatable boat seat. Also used car brake grease on the connections, WHAT! yes it's silicone not oil based, synthetic and die-electric. $7 a tube in Canada, enough for a lifetime. Here it's called Kleen-Flo, EZE-SLIDE.

may I suggest a really great helmet cover? another BF member wrote about theirs, so I checked it out & it's great when the you-know-what starts falling, especially useful when sleet is blowing right at your face

And it has that decidedly British look to it, like a pith helmet

LOL!
wonder what a 200 lb ray-o-vac E- bike battery pack looks like? either way it seems your not going to break windows 2 blocks away if something goes wrong like Lithium's.

I had some little grey men land in my yard and Itold them who he was and they said NO! They wanted to know when our pot stores opened, I said I don't know man, it's probably in the phone book.
That was some rain.

By the way i got that rear gear shifter off an old 80's (maybe) bike, works real well compared to the plastic and multiple gear shifters especially in the cold.
