I like the ugly Nitto stem, it has kind of an industrial look. Can imagine it looking pretty cool on a raw steel frame.

i dont think it looks bad on its own, but it wouldnt fit on say a merckx that you want to look "period" or "classy"

Take another photo on the drive side and you are likely to get a lot more love. Also, use a light colored backdrop so the bike stands out more and get closer.
