Mid 70’s Colnago Super F/F 57cm CTT

I’m selling my ~1976 Colnago Super frame and fork.

$275 plus actual cost of shipping (continental US)

I measure it at 56.7cm CTT so I assume it’s a 57. This is a repaint and my first attempt at lug lining. There are a few small chips in the paint (mostly DS chain stay).

If the buyer is interested, any of the other parts on the bike can also be purchased.

@jdawginsc It just wasn't getting the love it needed. I need around a 59 and I could get it close, but it never fit quite right.

Decently close relative to the Bowlnago, which is the same size as yours.

Shame it doesn’t fit you. And for the record I think it looks good. Haven’t tried lug lining yet so I hope to do as well as you did on the first attempt.

Somebody buy this and ride the heck out of it! A very low price for a fine riding bike , build it up with whatever you like.

These are pretty entertaining bikes to use. I keep one at home and one at work.

I had the same issue with my 60cm Medici. I ride a 62-64cm and , although I rode it , was not comfy on longer rides. It pained me to sell , but once I acquired a 64cm Medici(still building) I sold it.

I have the same issue, too small or just on the bottom end of the range.
I like 59 too. Mine measures 56.5 CTC. I use a Brooks Pro to get close to the height range needed along with the post with the line showing. The frame is still all original Patina!

My desire is to find an equivalent at the right size before selling this one. It is a sweet ride.

I've seen this bike in the flesh. As the Frenchman in the castle in "Holy Grail" said about his master's Grail, "it's very nice." (I'd ask repechage to buy it, "but I don't he's very keen. He's already got one, you see.")

Good frame, good seller, excellent price. Like Kabuki12, it's a bunch too small for me, otherwise I'd be driving to Saratoga to get it myself at that price - and I am not in the market for any new frames. What are you normal-sized people waiting for?

Man that was a good deal
Nice enough to just ride it as is

or

cheap enough to dip and repaint the color of choice.

great buy!!

Yep. One of the easiest dip/repaints out there. I have a chromovelato Faggin Aero that to redo goes beyond even my warped sensibilities.
