Powertap G3 broken connector - any way to solder it back?

Hi all, in a battery replacement accident, broke my powertap connector:

Is there a way I can fix it? Anyone knows how to remove the PCB to solder it back? Thanks!

I would seriously contact Quarq to see if this can be serviced. I haven't seen any manuals describing disassembly of the hub. Even if you can access the PCB, it may be difficult to repair. The PCB may be conformal coated or encapsulated to prevent intrusion of water, grease, and dirt. You have to remove the material, replace the connector and then re-encapsulate/coat it. Even finding a replacement connector may be difficult.

I did, unfortunately, seems like they don't service Powertap anymore...

I just recently contacted Quarg about upgrading the internals of an older Powertap hub,

and they said they could do it and gave a price...

Was the cost of the upgrade worth having it done?

No. $350 might be OK if you had a set of fancy wheels that you liked,

but I'm looking for a wheel (tubular) or hub for the CX bike.

Take it to an electronics/computer repair shop. They may be able to do it surprisingly low cost. Likely the connector can be found separately but knowing where to find it and install it correctly is the hard part.
