What to look for in a used TT bike fit

Short notice I know, but this evening I'm going to look at a used Cervelo TT bike that I think is the correct frame size for me. My road bike is a 56 cm frame and the TT bike is 54 cm frame. This is my first TT bike and I definitely plan on placing the bike on my trainer as well as taking it for a spin on the road before (or if) I make the purchase. I don't expect this to be a great fit for me initially, but what should I be looking at to see if I can make this bike into a perfect fit for me?

I haven't ridden TT bikes yet the basic concept is to rotate you forwards relative to the crank and then since you have more weight forwards they give you handlebars where you rest your elbows on pads to take your weight. Your back should be flat when in this position.

You should check to see how flat your back is when resting your elbows and consider what adjustments there are. You will have more weight forwards than on a road bike.
