Hi from NW Minnesota

I decided this was the year to reinvent myself and get back to cycling. It's been a while. I never really quit riding completely, I just want to do more of it.
Weather is always challenging, as is life. I figured joining a forum would get me excited about cycling again.

Welcome. And yes this forum is a good way to get back more into cycling. MN has great cycling. Where in NW MN do you live? I really like the area around Lake Itasca and Bemidji, there's some fine riding there when it's not too dang cold.

Thanks. Close to the ND/MN border. Red River Valley. Flat and windy.

Welcome, BikeForums has been a great addition to my bicycling world. I have been riding for a long time, but have really increased the mileage the past 4 years. Also, with inspiration and much help from Forum members, I started to purchase tools and do my own maintenance/mechanics on my bikes. I have now rebuilt a few bikes and am in the process of doing another as part of the corona virus challenge thread located in the C&V forum.

I, too, own a Poprad. I purchased it used last August. It is a 2003 , but the previous and only other owner, had upgraded everything from Sora to Ultegra 6500. Enjoy the ride and be safe out there.

Welcome! I remember my early riding days in MN, planning which way to go depending on which way the wind was blowing. At least the wind will be at your back half the time.
