Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Recuperating from a broken leg, hip, dislocated shoulder, and concussion following a pot hole run in and over the handlebar adventure 3 weeks ago. Despite Billy D's hint otherwise, the Great WHOOOSSIEEE is not banned!! The Sheriff is still allowed to be a mod? As my main man President Trump would tweet....FAKE NEWS....SAD!!!🤗🤗🤗

I keep forgetting that you're down there. My neighbor that I rode with on Monday should be back down in your neck of the woods by now (it's a long drive) - he lives there most of the year and works over at Bicycle Haus (the shop that ViceLord used to ride with). Looks/sounds like a pretty serious shoppe.

Excellent. Getting very good marks from Wine Spectator...in case you care about that sort of thing. And they have that neat lunch spot in the tasting room. A real chef and all. Very tasty stuff.

Not good at all. Sorry to hear it. But we do offer recuperative facilities for many who go the way of the bicycle injury. Your room awaits you. Stay as long as you like.

Yeah, it has a hard time reaching 100 degrees in November. But 98 is likely.

Quotes or it didn't happen.

Also, I can't imagine the size of the hole you made when you hit the ground, but anyway heal up soon.

It was a new Lynskey 460 with ENVE's, but neither the bike or wheels received any damage at all. I on the other hand got a new partial hip. I'm not sure if the implant is titanium, but I'm hoping!

Yes. On the other hand, a crabon hip would truly make me fearful of asplosion.

My new bike was undamaged in the last big wreck too, even though I had multiple fractures. Lucky-ish.

On a slightly sadder note, while my clubmates and friends are out cycling over hill and dale in beautiful Chester County, I am stuck at work tending to the needy.
