I have a sick obsession.
With bicycles.
Fast, sleek, beautiful bicycles.
When I'm alone at night, I pull out my cumulative collection of free catalogs from all the manufacturers.
And I fantasize.
My family tells me I have a problem, that I am wasting my money and my mathematical talents, that I can be better.
I don't trust them; all they are doing is plotting to have their own bikes and then ride past me on my way to work at physics research firm and yell at me.
It only makes me fantasize more....
Help me!!!

I, too, have this disorder. Although I don't own one, I usually have somebody's sweet ride from the fixies forum pasted as my wallpaper; too beautiful to ignore.

dunno why more people don't love bikes this much.......they're so fun, handy and relatively cheap to get into (until the obsession of course) and its really healthy
the more you bike, the stronger/faster you get. if only it were that way with cars

I can help with all the obsessions.
Send me your bike(s) I will take good care
of them, your family will feel better.

First of all, take steps to remove the "Wannabe" from your sub-title.
Just do it. Sign up. Pin the number on. And join the crowd.
Then you can call yourself a bike racer.
With that new title comes all the guiltfree joys of Bike Racer-hood:
- Having a legitimate excuse for going to sit down all the time.
- Having a legitimate excuse to miss Aunt Hilda's 87th birthday party
- Having a legitimate excuse to not work extra hours, though you'll have more need to.
