BikeBoomPeugeot Website Update
Greetings,
I am now semi-retired giving me more time to work on my BikeBoomPeugeot website, which is actively being updated. I am not sure how many Peugeot brochures I have in the queue, but they weigh ~20 lbs. I see my 1980 PKN-10 in there. I would have kept a 54cm (since they didn't make a 55, which is my size), but my elder son fits my old 58cm well. Superb machine, and more versatile than my 1981 Bianchi, due to greater tire clearance and eyelets on the dropouts.

Oh, and I was able to nail the year/model of the abandoned 1984 P8 my wife found several years ago. In the flip queue, along with... er... n+1 others.

I see an impressive collection of Terrot bicycle brochures on the Terrot Club of France website. I haven't found much on Griffon or Helium marques. Does anyone know how many bicycle brands Peugeot took over? For example, is Aiglon another?

My wife is in the process of getting a white Peugeot Jubilee with 24" wheels rebuilt by a local guy. Looking around your site, it appears that it was only offered in 1988 - does that sound right?
We’ve located some 24x1 3/8" tires/tubes, but there isn’t much selection! Has anyone had luck fitting them with 650bs?
Also, any idea how well it would work as a touring bike?
My wife is in the process of getting a white Peugeot Jubilee with 24" wheels rebuilt by a local guy. Looking around your site, it appears that it was only offered in 1988 - does that sound right?

Thank you. As you can imagine, when I worked at a Peugeot/Nishiki dealership in the early 1970s, I heard all sorts of [mis]pronunciations of both marques. We used to get free radio ads whenever Wolfman Jack mispronounced Nishiki. (In addition, my neighbor across the street, a UCLA English department professor who had become fluent in Japanese and wrote about the cross-influences of Japanese and English literature, kept admonishing me not to stress the middle syllable of Nishiki.) Of course Peugeot was rarely pronounced properly in the shop.
