Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Live Audio Coverage of Paris-Nice ?

Hi All,

I've poked around the Eurosport website but I can't find any live audio coverage there......is any available anywhere ??

I've been spoiled by the live streaming video coverage of the Tour of California....

Thanks,

J.

Oops..hit reply too quick. Yes, I've been a paid cycling.tv subscriber for the past couple of seasons and have been happy with their coverage.

What about the quality of the feed. Is it close to HD quality? I noticed on VS last night that the prolog was actually in HD unlike the TOC. I would get cycling.tv if it was watchable full screen instead of a little window. The free version if you blow it up to full screen it is too grainy/blocky to watch.

Yesterdays stage was a bit of a cockup coverage wise. I didnt catch it until it was too late, not realizing they shortened the stage and caught it in repeat on Cycling.TV.

Yes the coverage is good. The Irish guy Brian Smith is on haitus, so its just the one guy covering it. It appears that the French TV crews are using HD cameras, so if you have the bandwidth to stream it at the highest setting, it should look great on a bigscreen LCD or Plasma.
