Nice but rather generic looking, I don't like the ridiculously aero seattube and the saddle

Sorry. It was deserving of a partial picture-quote.

I f'ing love it. From the colour, to the fork, to the fork's decals, to the headset and chromed lugs. Oh, and 28h Campy hubs with that lacing? I'm just jealous now.

The way it's setup, it does look pretty goofy (huge bars and long stem on short frame, etc.). But to me goofy is better than tarcky (though with the toptube pad, the tarck argument could be made too).

the owner was a fellow foreigner but we only exchanged knowing glances after my "is this yours??" gesture from a few meters away.

the goofiness may be in part due to the wide angle lens on the camera I was using. it wasn't quite as goofy in person, but it is a couple sizes small to be sure. color aside (the maroon is pretty nice) I wasn't really a fan of the tt pad either. but damn, beautiful old frame.

another installment of track bikes in osaka

last night there was a ピスト themed event in umeda. main event was keirin simulation bike racing and the debut of a local osaka crew's riding dvd.

random pics of bikes outside and inside. some of the ocean frames are on their blog or have already been posted. look real pretty in person.

Damn, I want a reversible NITTO BIA stem like that. And yes, I know Ben's has it but I'm not willing to pay their price...

Those Ocean frames do look real nice too IMO.
