Snelling RR 2/26

Bring your wet gear and leave the slick tires at home. Should be a wild/fun day

I'm wimping out. I'm ashamed.

I blame it on the broken collarbone though. It still hurts occasionally and the crash has made me a pack-riding ninny.

It will all be gone by the time we roll out. Would make it interesting though.

That's cool.

I'm not up for being the guy to crash someone else out because I'm a bit flinchy, still.

I'm pussing out. Didn't seem like it was worth waking up at 4am for. I need some more endurance work anyway.

I had my jaw wired shut for a month a few years back. Your friend is nuts.

I'm beginning to discover that while I love riding and training hard, I don't care that much about racing. Time trials and hill climbs are better for my anxiety-riddled personality.

Anyway, good luck to those out there today. 29f at the early starts!

I braved the cold with some friends in the Elite 5s. It actually very dry and very sunny. Yes it was freezing when we started, but by the time the neutral lap was over it wasn't so bad, and the few puddles that were there the peloton easily rode around. We were neutralized a few times as the other cats passed us... and eventually broke up into 2 groups (there originally was a 5A/5B, but they started us all out as one), I ended up around middle of the first group.

Am hoping Merco's RR will be similar if not warmer. I should be a 4 by then too!
